In [[2833]], [[Kori Desmon]], who became the CEO of MISC, decided to try and expand MISC's ship manufacturing focus from heavy, industrial ships to lighter, more maneuverable ones. He sets his sights on the dream of a "MISC ship taking the [[Murray Cup]]" as the company's focus. The result was the predecessor of Razor, [[Daedalus]].<ref name="ReferenceA" /> In [[2898]], when the [[New Horizon Speedway]] opened on [[Green]], the MISC racing team compete in the race with a Daedalus mkVIII, but they did not win the race.

== Development ==

The Razor was introduced in 2016-12-16 as a new racer concept.
