The Behring CQ7 is a close-quarters ballistic bullpup rifle that was added in Alpha 4.9.
Description
Designed for close quarter engagements such as boarding actions, Behring's CQ7 is a next generation bullpup battle rifle designed to dominate the rigors of the modern battlefield environment. The Blacklist edition features a dark black finish.

- The CQ7 is the first bullpup rifle in Star Citizen. A bullpup weapon is one in which the magazine and bolt are located behind the trigger.
Development
The original concept was designed in 2015[1] with a low quality model being found in the game files. In 2026 Zac Preece teased that a "Bullpup" was currently in development[2]. On June 17 2026, the Behring "CQ7" Bullpup Rifle was added to the Alpha 4.9 release card.[3]
