Dracaena

Dracaenas are alien plants in Star Citizen found on the planet Pyro I.

It has large, vibrant leaves that transition from light blue (younger growth) to deep purple. Its bulbous silhouette includes side buds, while the base leaves form a palm-like structure. The main body has a twisted, root-like formation that spreads in all directions as it hits the ground.

Development

It was added as part of patch 4.0. This species and its name is inspired by the real-life Dracaena, but reimagined as an alien variant.

To suggest mutation and biological evolution, a slimy blue lichen texture was added along the bark, reinforcing the alien feel of the plant.
