NavJumper is a space pilot sub-profession that originated shortly after the discovery of the first jump point. Initially jump point pilots were called Jumpers and had to traverse them manually. Once the auto-piloted jump drives became accessible the Jumpers changed their focus to discovery and mapping of new jump points.[1]
