A Star Citizen történetében az Alapítványi Fesztivál évente ismétlődő polgári program, ami egy hónapig tart és célja a közösségi szellem erősítése. Erre törekszik azáltal, hogy a polgárokat és a civileket önkéntes munkára ösztönözze a helyi és birodalmi szervezeteknél..

A játékosok számára ez gyakran párosul előnyökkel, promóciókkal és Free-fly-vel. A Cloud Imperium ezt az eseményt a mentori program népszerűsítésére használja. A meglévő játékosok különböző témákban jelentkezhetnek mentorként. Az újonnan játékosok aztán segítséget kérhetnek ezektől az mentoroktól. A mentori program használata a fesztivál ideje alatt mindkét játékost jutalmazza.
