Imperator's Day is a holiday in the United Empire of Earth (UEE) held annually on July 12th. The holiday commemorates the unification of the Humans under a single government.[1]

History

Imperator's Day was established as a holiday in 2380, originally under the name Council Day to recognize the initial council of the United Nations of Earth (UNE). In 2523 the United Planets of Earth (UPE) was founded and the holiday was renamed Tribunal Day. In 2546 Ivar Messer I established the UEE and once again the holiday was renamed, this time to the current form, Imperator's Day.

There is growing discussion to change the name of the holiday again to reflect the diminished importance oof the Imperator role within the UEE since the fall of the Messer's.[1]

Traditions

Imperator's Day commemorates humanity coming together as one. Is modern times the holiday is a moment remember all humanity has achieved working together and to focus on acceptance, inclusion, and mutual understanding.[2]
