A Star Citizen történetében az Alapítványi Fesztivál egy éves, egy hónapos polgári program, amely a közösségi szellem erősítésére törekszik azáltal, hogy a polgárokat és a civileket önkéntes munkára ösztönzi a helyi és birodalmi szervezeteknél..

A játékosok számára ez gyakran párosul előnyökkel, promóciókkal és Free-fly-vel. A Cloud Imperium ezt az eseményt a Guide System népszerűsítésére használta. Ebben a meglévő játékosok különböző témákban jelentkezhetnek útmutatóként. Az új játékosok aztán segítséget kérhetnek ezektől az útmutatóktól. A rendszer használata a fesztivál ideje alatt mindkét játékost jutalmazza.
