The Constellation ships are a series of multi-crew freighters by Roberts Space Industries. Each Constellation has its own primary focus, ranging from exploration to transport.[1]
The Constellation Andromeda is a multi-person freighter manufactured by Roberts Space Industries (RSI). It is the base model of the Constellation series. It comes with a P-52 Merlin docked at the stern as a snub fighter.[1]
The Constellation Aquila is a multi-person spacecraft manufactured by Roberts Space Industries (RSI). It is the expedition variant of the Constellation series. It comes with a P-52 Merlin docked at the stern as a snub fighter, and an Ursa parked in the cargo bay as a ground rover. Compared to the base model, the Aquila features a cockpit with improved visibility and an advanced sensor suite in place of the top turret.[2]
The Constellation Phoenix is a multi-crew luxury spacecraft manufactured by Roberts Space Industries (RSI). As the luxury variant of the Constellation series, it is primarily used to facilitate elite tourism and VIP transport. Its amenities include two single bedrooms, a master bedroom, a full bar, a dining area, and a hot tub. It also features a sensor-dampened cargo area. The Phoenix comes stock with a Lynx Rover and a P-72 Archimedes.[3] As of Alpha 3.14, the Ursa Rover serves as a placeholder for the upcoming Lynx Rover.[4]
The Constellation Taurus is the freighter variant of the large multi-crew Constellation series manufactured by Roberts Space Industries (RSI). It trades the side missile racks and the stub fighter for additional cargo space, a cargo release system for quick unloading, and a security hold reinforced with tech plating.[5][2]

Military green colour with dark grey decals.
Although rarely seen in active theaters, the RSI Constellation is utilized by the Navy for long-distance supply runs, fleet support, and covert operations. This dark green paint matches the military-spec Constellation’s seen throughout the UEE and beyond.
This custom Constellation paint scheme was created to celebrate the IAE on microTech. It integrates shades of grey and electric blue accents to give the ship a cool new look.
The Mark I Constellation had a two-person cockpit, and no snub ship. An example of this vessel is the Plumetail.[14][15]
2918 Model
The 2918 Model is regarded as a poor model, and a rare misstep for the company. This model did come equipped with a P-52 Merlin. The Harlequin in an example of a 2918 model.[16] This may be synonymous with a 'Mark II' Constellation, but this is only a speculation based on the date and description.
Mark III
Mark III Constellations were in production by 2934 at the latest, and considered standard in 2942.[14] The Constellation Phoenix concept was originally based on a Mark III Constellation.[17]
Mark IV
Mark IV Constellations were planned for release in 2942, but this was later pushed back to 2944.[17] While they did launch for sale that year, the vessels were branded as the 2945 Constellation variants.[18][19][20][21]
Development
The original four variants for the Constellation were designed by David Hobbins and Gurmukh Bhasin. Once their work was complete, CGBot converted all four ships into CryEngine, with contributions by Dennia Aguilar (3D Artist), Chuy Alanis (Lead Artist), amongst others.[22] In February 2016 the Constellation got an additional revamp by Chris Smith (Lead Vehicle/Weapon Artist) and Josh Coons (3D Modeler).[23]
