The Spartan is an armored personnel carrier manufactured by Anvil Aerospace, boasting a turret and an impressive armored hull to transport up to eight troops and equipment to hardened compounds. Built off the same Atlas chassis as the Ballista, the Spartan is the most effective option for transporting troops to the front line.[1]

Features

  • Armoured hull: Tough and durable, the Spartan provides maximum protection to its occupants from both air and ground enemies.
  • Passenger Transport: Eight secure jump seats are outfitted inside a fully armored hold.
  • Equipment Storage: The Spartan has a 1,000K μSCU internal storage, with a 500K μSCU storage locker and dedicated gun rack near the pilot's seat. Each of the eight jump seats also includes a separate gun rack.
  • Defensive turret: A dual size-2 turret for fending off targets that get too close.
  • Multiple access points Two exits on the side along with an exit ramp for allowing rapid ingress or egress from the vehicle.[1]

Development

  • The Spartan was originally teased in CitizenCon 2951 as a potential option for ground vehicle concept, along with two other vehicles, including the vehicle that becomes the Mule.[2]
