The Chimera Communications Auris is a probe which exists in game since Alpha 3.6. According to the data, it is a size 3 Passive Data Collection monitor that operates autonomously without crew.[1]

Designed to be virtually invisible while operating, this low-powered Passive Data Collection (PDC) Monitor is perfect for providing extra security to any station or facility with detailed logging of data transmissions and local ship traffic records.
