The Cutter is a single-seat starter ship manufactured by Drake Interplanetary.[1] It's tough, versatile and flexible frame can tackle multiple different roles and is designed to be user-friendly, making it ideal for fledgling pilots.

Features

  • Cargo/Stowage: With a 4 SCU cargo hold and up to 650K μSCU of stowage, it's ideal for light freight or mercantile missions.
  • Frame: This ship is designed to be flexible, versatile, tough and user friendly, making it the ideal starting vehicle for fledgling pilots.
  • Living quarters: A minimal yet comfortable living quarters let you take on those longer missions.
  • Weapons: The Cutter also has 2 Size 2 gun hardpoint's as well as 2 Size 2 missile hardpoint's, giving you the ability to defend yourself when needed.

Development

The Cutter is first spotted publicly in the files of the Alpha 3.17.4 PTU build.[1] Brochure material of the ship already circulated since October-November 2022. The ship is officially revealed on 2022-11-18, day 1 of the Intergalactic Aerospace Expo 2952.[5]
